A benefit dinner will be held for John Raniowski from 4 to 8 p.m. this Saturday at the Rossiter American Legion.

This summer, Raniowski suffered head trauma and then had a stroke in August, which left him paralyzed on his right side.

To help with medical expenses and other expenses related to his care, friends will be hosting the benefit.
