Rosemarie Palmer, 75

Rosemarie Palmer, 75, Punxsutawney, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Islin, Pa., a daughter of the late Alfonso and Gladys (Palmer) Gallo.

On Aug. 9, 1982, she married Joseph A. Palmer, who survives.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Punxsutawney.

She was a talented quilter, who enjoyed shopping, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, surviving relatives include five children, Darlene Perry, Diane Marks and husband Pete, Anthony Perry, Denise Maxwell and husband Mark, and Paula Perry; a step-daughter, Kimberly Whitesell and husband William; a brother Sam Gallo; five grandchildren, Brandon Maxwell, Tina Perry and Kayla Shearman, Katie and Carli Marks, and Jessica Carr and Jacob Whitesell; and five great-grandchildren, Zane, Kaydence, Landon, Jordyn, and Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Arrangements are private and for the family and under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
