RoseMarie Marasco, 78, Santa Barbara, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.

She was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Walston, a daughter of the late Rosario and Josephine Marasco.

RoseMarie was raised in Punxsutawney. She was a graduate of St. Vincent
School of Nursing in Erie, Pa.

She lived in Santa Barbara, Calif., since 1970 and worked as a nurse in several hospitals.

An avid cook of Italian cuisine, RoseMarie wrote and published a cookbook, "Di Tutto Cuore," a collection of recipes of family and friends.

She is survived by three brothers, Frederick, Francis and Edward; and her much-loved niece and five nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older brother, Bernard.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the Santa Maria Cemetery in California.
