Rose Marie Goyette, 75

Rose Marie Goyette, 75, of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Miss Goyette was born Aug. 15, 1938, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Caloger) Goyette.

Rose was a member of Ss. Cosmas & Damian Catholic Church.

She was employed by Lorree Footwear before retirement. She was a member of the Green Thumb Program at the Punxsutawney Library.

She is survived by her brother, Nicholas A. Goyette of Medina, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Janice C. Goyette.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where the Rosary will be recited by the Ladies Rosary Altar Society and the CD of A at 3:30 p.m.

Everyone is asked to go directly to the church for a funeral Mass that will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Ss. Cosmas & Damian Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph Riccardo as celebrant.

Mausoleum entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
