Rose Ella Smith, 84, of Glen Campbell, Pa., died Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Penn Mary, Pa., the daughter of the late Ralph and Juanita (Fuller) Lucas.

She was married to Stanley Smith, who survives, of Glen Campbell.

She worked as a machine operator for General Electric and later as a hairdresser.

She attended the Smithport Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley; her mother, Juanita (Fuller) Lucas: a son, Gerald Brandner of Glen Campbell; two brothers,
Lester Lucas and Frederick Lucas, both of Glen Camp-bell; and by a sister, Lena Biancuzzo of Naples, Fla.

She is also survived by two grandchildren, Catherine Byers and Rachel Morgan.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Lucas, Jr.; and a grandson, Christopher Brandner.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
