Rose Bernardo (Dicello), 96, of Green Valley, Ariz., passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 9, 2012.

A native of Cecil, Pa., she married Frank Bernardo of Rossiter in 1940.

They moved to Detroit, where Frank worked for General Motors while Rose became a homemaker.

Rose lived in Michigan for many years, later moving to Florida and eventually settling in Green Valley near her three sons.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank, who passed in 1976; sisters Jessie Russo and Angelina Morabito; brothers Frank and Gennar Dicello; and granddaughter Jennifer.

She is survived by sons Frank (Sue) Bernardo, Tom (Chris) Bernardo and Rich (Peggy) Bernardo; grandchildren Steve, Aaron, Derek and Melissa; and great-granddaughter Amanda.
