Ronald Maxwell McGregor, 74, of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born May 6, 1938, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Wayne Maxwell McGregor and Evelyn Louise (McDivitt) McGregor.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Novelda "Val" (Taylor ) McGregor, of Punxsutawney.
He owned and operated McGregor Industries Inc.
Ron loved traveling with his wife and spending time in the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
In addition to his wife, Val, surviving relatives include his son, Brandon M. McGregor and wife Suzanne of Manhattan, N.Y.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Zion Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
