Roger M. Mott, 67, Punxsutawney, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at his home.

Mr. Mott was born Aug. 17, 1943, in Washington, D.C., a son of the late Charles M. and Charlotte Mae (Wilton) Mott.

Mr. Mott was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just spending time with his family and friends.
He was a self-employed welder before retirement.

He is survived by a son, Michael L. Mott and wife Robyn of Punxsutawney; two daughters, Michelle M. Hutchinson and Melanie S. Elkin and husband Gregory, all of Punxsutawney; eight grandchildren; a sister, Karen Johnson of Williamsport; his companion, Sheilah Hartzfeld; and his former wife, Barbara H. Mott-Toven, also of Punxsutawney.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Rye.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Flick officiating.

Interment is private.
