Robert M. Sink, 72, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, formerly of Punxsutawney and Clymer, passed away June 6, 2014, at his home.

The son of Edward Sink and Katherin Milliron Sink, Bob was born Dec. 5 1941, in Punxsutawney.

He was a graduate of the Clymer High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Bob also retired from Unysis Corporation as a project manager.

Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Antoinette Shimps of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Penny James (Chris) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Kathy Light (Mark) of Richmond, Virginia; and a very special granddaughter, Gabriela of Richmond.

Bob is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Jon Sink of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kenneth Jacobson and wife Linda of Reynoldsville, Thomas Jacobson and wife Mary Ann of Punxsutawney, David Jacobson and wife Joy of Missoula, Montana, Daniel Jacobson of Reynoldsville and Douglas Jacobson of Reynoldsville, Susan Sims (William) of Altoona, and Terry Clemento (William) of Punxsutawney.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Peggy Sink; and his stepfather, Edward "Lefty" Jacobson.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation.

Bob will be buried at sea by the Unites States Navy with full military honors.

A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
