Robert Ellenberger, 63, Punxsutawney, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 11, 1950, in Waynesburg, a son of Percy and Betty Ann (Hathaway) Ellenberger.

He was a member of the Albion United Church.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, family and his dog
Veejay.

He was a former member of the IUP Board, Punxsutawney Hospital Board and the Rotary.

He was the manager of the First Commonwealth Bank in Punxsutawney and retired from there in 2006.

In addition to his mother, surviving relatives include his spouse, Janet Hixson Ellenberger of Brockway; a son, Chad Ellenberger and fiancée Amanda Heitzenrater of Boardman, Ohio; grandchildren, Teagan, Kendall
and Brooke; two brothers, Kirk Ellenberger of Punxsutawney and John Ellenberger and wife Debra of Tionesta; a nephew, Erik Ellenberger; a niece, Lisa Ellenberger; several great nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Marie McKee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Ellenberger.

Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at the funeral home with Reverend Al Kimmel officiating.
