Robert E. White, 80, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Erie, Pa., a son of Annabelle (White) Reisinger.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from the Punxsutawney Post Office as a Postal Carrier.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include two children, a daughter, Carolyn Zambory and husband Joe of Punxsutawney, and a son, Tim White of Punxsutawney; four grandchildren, Colin Zambory and wife Nyssa, Kevin Zambory, Cadin Zambory, and Danielle Bailor and husband Patrick; a great-granddaughter, Mallory Bailor; and a brother, Edwin Reisinger and wife Simone.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rona Freitas.

Services are private and under the direction of Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

Interment will be in Oliveburg Cemetery, Oliveburg.
