Robert Dean Hetrick, 55, of Altoona, formerly of Punxsutawney, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in Blair County.

He was born March 15, 1957, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Robert Lee Hetrick and Winona M. (London) Hetrick.

His mother survives and resides in Punxsutawney.

He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam era.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, LeeAnn Hetrick and Linda Kerns Stanford and husband Steve, all of Punxsutawney; and a brother, Barry Hetrick and wife Kimberly of Punxsutawney.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

Interment will be at the Markton Cemetery.
