Robert Clair Campbell, 94

Robert Clair Campbell, 94, Brookville, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.

He was born Aug. 5, 1916, in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Preston and Olive (Lewis) Campbell.

He married Elizabeth (Shaffer) Campbell, who preceded him in death in 1992.
Mr. Campbell was a manager at United Refinery.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Dorothy Crooks and husband Richard of Peoria, Ariz.; two sisters, Bernice Bullers of Erie and Ann DeWitte of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandsons, Eric Campbell of California and Douglas Crooks of Anthem, Ariz., a granddaughter, Laura Perkins of DelMar, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren, Grace and Matthew Perkins and Stone and Cory Crooks.

A memorial service will at held at 11 a.m. today at the Laurelbrooke Landing Chapel in Brookville.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
