Robert B. "Bob" Henretta, 79, of Congress Street, Bradford, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.

Born July 16, 1934, in Bradford, he was the son of the late Leo and Maxine (Bishop) Henretta.

On Jan. 10, 1953, in Olean, N.Y., he married Shirley (Groves) Henretta, who died on Aug. 22, 1993.

Mr. Henretta was a 1952 graduate of St. Bernard High School.

Mr. Henretta was a member of St. Bernard Church, the Don Raabe Big 30 All Star Committee and was on the Olean Times Herald All Star Selection Committee.

Bob had been employed as a Bulk Plant Operator at Witco Corporation with 38 years of service and retired in 1997.

Mr. Henretta was an avid fisherman and loved fishing for walleye with his grandson Bobby on the Kinzua Dam.

Surviving is a son, Robert (Toni) Henretta of Punxsutawney; a daughter-in-law, Carol Henretta of League City, Texas; a brother-in-law, Thomas "Dibby" Milliron; five grandchildren, Brian (Jamie) Henretta,
Robert "Bobby" Henretta, Matthew (Erikka) Henretta, Trinity (Nick) DeLauro, and Jessica Henretta and fiancé Mike Van Riper; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Henretta, Sophie Henretta, Clair Henretta, Sophia DeLauro and Christian DeLauro; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one son, Duffy Leo Henretta, who died Nov. 18, 2013.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at St. Bernard Church, with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as Celebrant.

Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
