Rita Marie Heckman, 69, of Punxsutawney, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.

She was born April 14, 1944, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Antonio and Domenica (Lorelli) Stellabotta.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Bell and wife Debbie of Richmond, Va., and Sidney Bell of Clarion; one daughter, Teri Ann Watterson of Blackstone, Va.; four brothers, William Stellabuto and wife Marie of Rochester, N.Y., James Stellabuto of DuBois, John Stellabuto and wife Shirley of Punxsutawney and Richard Stellabuto and wife Doris of Jessup, Md.; and three sisters, Amelia Thompson of Punxsutawney, Linda Young-Conser and husband Harry of Punxsutawney and Geraldine Troutman and husband Butch of Punxsutawney.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Stellabuto; and a sister, Caroline Ritchey.

At the family's request, there will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
