Richard L. Brown, 73, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, went home to be with his Saviour on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at his home.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints — Psalm 116:15.

He was born on July 7, 1939, in Rochester Mills, Pa. to the late Louise (nee Work) and Richard C. Brown.

He gathered with the Christians at Myrtle Street Meeting for many years.

He was a barber for 46 years, Owner of Brown’s Westgate Barber Shop for 20 years and worked at Terex, GM for more than 8 years.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Susan; a daughter, Michele (fiancé, Larry Price) 
Arbaugh; sons, Gregory (Ann), Rusty, Timothy (fiancé, Danielle Weitzel) and Steven (fiance, Kimberly McKee) Brown; a son-in-law, Doug Arbaugh; sisters, Jackie Copenhauer of Punxsutawney, Pa. and Sherry Ward, Ph.D. of Newmarket, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305.
