Reynoldsville man charged in false alarm incident

Punxsutawney Borough Police have filed charges against a Reynoldsville man for allegedly pulling the fire alarm at the Primary Health Network on Thursday, Aug. 6. According to police, officers and the Punxsutawney Fire Department responded to 200 Prushnok Drive, Punxsutawney, for an activated fire alarm at the building. No emergency was discovered upon arrival of first responders. Through police investigation and video surveillance, it was determined that Harry E. Smith, Reynoldsville, purposely pulled the alarm, triggering the false emergency. As a result of the incident, police filed a criminal complaint against Smith, charging him with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
