Rebecca (Montgomery) Meckley, 60

Rebecca (Montgomery) Meckley, 60, Cabot, went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in the company of her family.

She was born Nov. 6, 1950, a daughter of the late John Calvin and Norma Jean Montgomery.

She lived most of her life in Cabot.

Mrs. Meckley was employed by H.P. Stars in Mars, and worked many years at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and spending time at camp.

Surviving relatives include her husband of 40 years, Richard Meckley of Cabot; a daughter, Georgette Pennington and husband Floyd of Punxsutawney; a son, Brian Meckley and wife Denise of Kennerdale; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brittany, Kalsea and Rose; three brothers and two sisters, Emily Montgomery of Tarentum, Leroy Montgomery and wife Bette Cecconie of Apollo, Roger Montgomery of New York, Robert Montgomery and wife Lisa of Lower Burrell, and Florence Spellman of Evans City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Montgomery.

There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at the Sarver Free Methodist Church, Sarver.
