THE RAIN JUST WOULDN'T GO AWAY

Members of the Punxsy high school baseball team, (from left) Michael Klingensmith, Luke Janocha, Ty Zimmerman and Dane Baker, pass the time during a break between rain storms playing a game, as wet weather delayed a double header with Brookville. Unfortunately, the pastime was the only game able to be played, as a late burst of rain muddied the field that many had worked so hard to get back into playing shape. The Lady Chucks' softball double header was also rained out. The baseball team will close its regular season Friday against Hollidaysburg — which will be Senior Night — and the Lady Chucks will return to action today.
