Questions for Kids: “If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why?”

This week, first-grade students at Jenks Hill Elementary School shared with The Spirit’s Larry McGuire what food they would eat if they could only pick one to feast on for the rest of their lives in honor of
Fat Tuesday — a holiday that involves feasting before the Lenten fast.

Pictured here are members of Mrs. Baun’s class (front row, from left): Leanne Zampini, Britney Pierce, Harlie Test; (middle row) Landon
Neal, Zane Esposito, Sean DeFoor, Dominick Shields, Gavin Clark; (back row) Brandon Fronk-Sunderlin, David Brothers, Trevor Bowser, Matthew Huey, Isaac Beale and Aiden Kern. Missing from the photo is Devan Trinka.

For the kids' answers to the question, see Thursday's print edition of The Spirit.
