"Punxsy youth rally" held at PAHS

The combined youth groups of the Christian, Missionary and Alliance Church; First Church of God; Salvation Army; and First United Methodist Church in Punxsutawney sponsored a youth rally Sunday at the Punxsutawney Area High School gymnasium. Mike Hammer, youth pastor at First Church of God, said the purpose of the rally was to have a safe event where students could come, interact and have fun. He said he wants students to realize that just because something is church-related doesnât mean itâs boring.
