Punxsy grad operating chiropractic practice just up the road in Indiana

January 15, 2014

Kolby Mumau

INDIANA — There is a saying that everything happens for a reason. An athlete who suffered an injury may look at the injury as the end of the world, but really, it may very well be a blessing in disguise.

It took such an injury to show one Punxsy native what he was destined to do.

Dr. Kolby Mumau was born and raised in Punxsutawney. He is a 2006 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School, where he was very active in sports.

"I played basketball, baseball, volleyball and tennis," Mumau said, adding that it was after suffering an injury to his lower back during a pick-up basketball game, that he became interested in learning more about chiropractors.

For the full story about Mumau, see today's print edition of The Spirit.
