PUNXSUTAWNEY — The home course advantage is always nice and the Lady Chucks enjoyed it Monday afternoon. Punxsy golfers recorded three of the top scores, as Punxsy swept Brookville, DuBois, Curwensville and Brockway.

The four lowest scorers for the Lady Chucks, who are now 15-1 in the district and 18-1 overall, produced a team score of 224 for the front nine holes of the Punxsutawney Country Club. The score was six strokes better than rival Brookville (230) and easily enough to better DuBois (244), Curwensville (264) and Brockway (265).

"Some of the girls' scores today didn't accurately represent how they played. Many of them had one or two bad holes. Other than those holes, they played fairly well," said Punxsy coach Kacee Dale.

The low medalist of the day was Punxsy's Audrianna Delacour who posted a round of 54, one stroke better than Brookville's Emily Rickard (55).

"Audrianna continues to be consistent for us. It was nice to see her receive low medalist honors today since it was the last home match for the seniors," added Dale.

Two Lady Chucks tied for the third best round totals in Lauren Giavedoni and Morgan McFarland with identical scores of 56. Sarah London was right behind them with her 58.

Caroline Dunkel and Lauren McGee completed the potential scoring Punxsy players, with both having a 62.

Four junior varsity players hit rounds. Sam Satterlee had the lowest of the four scores (63) with Kasey Prescott (71), Julia Martino (75) and Kim Belisky (76) being the other three.

Punxsy will be back at the links today for a 3 p.m. round at Ridgway.
