The Punxsutawney Area Memorial Library has recently seen some changes. Library Director Jessica Church and the rest of the library staff have been busy updating the library as a result of the Small Libraries Create Smart Spaces grant project. The library has been focusing on improving the feel of the library, as well as skill development training for the community. There have been changes made to various areas of the library, as well as the addition of PA Forward Skill Kits that focus on skill training in various literacy categories.
