May 21, 2014

BROOKVILLE — Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police reported Wednesday that two Brookville residents — Keith A. McNaughton, 29, Brookville, and Kari L. Housler, 26, Brookville — were arrested
at 124 Crestwood Circle in Brookville in relation to a narcotics investigation that started back on April 1.

Police said that on April 1, the Jefferson County Drug Task Force and the Troop C Vice Unit began an investigation into the manufacturing and
distribution of methamphetamine from 124 Crestwood Circle.

On May 21, the Pennsylvania State Police SERT team executed a search warrant at the residence, and McNaughton and Housler were taken into custody.

The Pennsylvania Clandestine Lab team conducted a search of the residence, police said, and allegedly found numerous items needed to manufacture methamphetamine.

Both McNaughton and Housler were taken to District Judge Bazylak’s office, where they were charged with numerous methamphetamine-related charges. They were arraigned and placed in Jefferson County Jail in lieu of posting $100,000 straight cash bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
