PSP-Punxsy reports three arrested for delivery of heroin

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Over the past two days, Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police have charged three individuals, including two local men, with delivery of heroin after search warrant and arrest warrants were
served in two separate incidents — one at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Monday and another at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

In the first incident, police reported that the warrants were served against Donald Lequay Kelley, 21, of Pittsburgh, and Ryan J. Brownlee, 24, of Punxsutawney, at 402 W. Mahoning St. in Punxsutawney by members of the Pennsylvania State Police Troop C Vice Unit, Crime Unit, Patrol Unit, Jefferson County Drug Task Force and Punxsutawney Borough
Police.

According to the police report, heroin, marijuana, marijuana smoking devices, drug paraphernalia and $923 in cash were seized.

Kelley was charged with two counts of delivery of heroin, and Brownlee was charged with one count of the same charge.

Additional charges will be filed against both defendants, police said.

Kelley was incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail on $250,000 straight cash bail, and Brownlee was incarcerated on $150,000 straight cash bail by Magisterial District Judge Douglas Chambers.

In the second incident, police reported that the warrants were served against Rodrick Leroy Bloom, 51, of Punxsutawney, at 404 South Main St. in Punxsutawney by members of Pennsylvania State Police Troop C Vice Unit, Patrol Unit, Jefferson County Task Force, Punxsutawney Borough
Police and Pennsylvania State Police K9 Unit.

Heroin, marijuana, marijuana smoking devices, drug paraphernalia and $390 in cash was seized from the property, according to police.

The report also states that additional charges will be filed against Bloom, who was incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail on $250,000 straight cash bail after being arraigned by Chambers.
