PSP investigating potential $60,000 employee theft at FEMCO

YOUNG TOWNSHIP — Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to an incident of theft Thursday at FEMCO Machine Co. in Young Township.

It was reported to police that a male FEMCO employee, 32, of Punxsutawney, had been stealing products from the workplace and selling them for scrap.

Police said the employee, whose name was not listed in the report, reportedly deprived FEMCO of an estimated $60,000 worth of material since November of 2013.

The investigation continues.
