PSP, Burkett address drug culture after local arrests

PUNXSUTAWNEY — At a press conference announcing the issuance of 17 arrest warrants related to an area sweep on Wednesday, Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police and Jefferson County District Attorney Jeff Burkett spoke about the local drug culture and the effect the most recent arrests could have.

Captain Bernard J. Petrovsky, commanding officer of Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, Punxsutawney, along with Burkett, opened the press conference by announcing the issuance of 17 drug-related arrest warrants for offenders from Jefferson County and the surrounding area.
