Police: Runaway teen located

BANKS TOWNSHIP — Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police have located a runaway 16-year-old Rossiter female.

Police said Nicole Lynn Weaver ran away from her Hemlock Lake Road, Banks Township, Indiana County residence at 3 p.m. Thursday.

Around 1 p.m. Sunday, Weaver's mother spotted her daughter on Myrtle Avenue in Punxsutawney.

According to police, when Weaver's mother approached her, the teen ran from her mother, saying she was not coming home again.

Police issued a report at 1:23 a.m. Monday saying that Weaver had been located.
