At 3:41 p.m. on Tuesday, Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a two-car accident on Harmony Road (Route 310), 410 feet south of Crawfordtown Road in Young Township.

Police said that a 2009 Ford F-150 driven by Richard M. Hazuda, 36, of Powell, Tenn., was stopped in the northbound late of Route 310 for a vehicle turning left into a driveway when a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta (pictured here) driven by Lacey L. McNeel, 20, of Reynoldsville was unable to stop and struck the rear of Hazuda's F-150.

Both units came to rest facing north in the northbound lane.

Police reported that Hazuda suffered minor injuries, and McNeel was not injured.
