Phyllis Jean Anderson, 79, Pembroke Pines, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in Hollywood, Fla.
She was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Fred and Mildred (Miller) Lippart.
Mrs. Anderson was married to Donald E. Anderson, who preceded her in death July 1, 2005.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Valier United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah L. Talbott of Pembroke Pines; seven grandchildren, Tricia Smith, Crystal Thompsen, Beth Gervasoni, all of the Punxsy area, Christopher Talbott of Charleston, S.C, Marcia McCauley of Buffton, S.C.; Gregory Talbott and Jennifer Fragra of Pembroke Pines; 11 great-grandchildren, Renee, Kimberly Brett, Bryce, Brady, Emma, Morgan, Hannah, Ava, Arielle and Daimon; a sister, Melva McKenrick, Clearfield; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Kline of Punxsutawney; five sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Anderson; two brothers, Kenneth and Howard; and four sisters, Gladys, Alberta, Anna and Lucy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Spencer officiating.
Interment will be in the Valier Cemetery.
