Peter T. Pascuzzo, 53, of Punxsutawney, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2013, at home.

He was born June 19, 1959, in Punxsutawney, a son of Peter P. and the late Mary Lou (Treharne) Pascuzzo.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the strip mining and reclamation industries.

Pete's favorite pastime was hanging out with his friends at the Walston Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Danielle Pascuzzo of Punxsutawney; his father, Peter P. Pascuzzo of Punxsutawney; a sister, Paula Pascuzzo and husband Thomas Maslowski of DuBois; and two brothers, Thomas D. Pascuzzo of Erie, Pa., and Robert Pascuzzo and wife Lisa of Punxsutawney.

He is also survived by nieces and nephews Thomas D. Pascuzzo, Jr., Nicole Pascuzzo, Andrea Pascuzzo, Joseph Pascuzzo, Nicholas Pascuzzo, Anthony Pascuzzo, Michael Pascuzzo and Maria Pascuzzo.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou (Treharne) Pascuzzo.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Fr. William Laska officiating.

A private interment will follow.
