PennDOT: Work to begin next week on a resurfacing project on Route 119 in Big Run

July 1, 2014

INDIANA — Work begins next week on a resurfacing project on Route 119 from the intersection with Mitchell Avenue in Big Run Borough to the Jefferson/Clearfield county line in Jefferson County.

During the daytime hours, single-lane restrictions controlled by flaggers will be in place on Route 119 to perform roadwork including milling, paving and drainage.

PennDOT reminds motorists to be alert to changing conditions and to pay attention to flaggers and traffic control devices in the work zone.

Remember that fines are doubled; drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.

This $3,624,600 resurfacing project is being executed by Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., and is expected to be completed in early October.
