PCS senior Martino organizing blood drive to help community

PUNXSUTAWNEY — On Friday, Nov. 1, Punxsutawney Christian School will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive in the school gym from noon to 6 p.m.

Julia Martino, a PCS senior, is organizing the drive through the Red Cross Educational Scholarship Program. The program allows students to help others in their community and around the region while raising college scholarship funds.

Appointments for donating can be scheduled in advance by logging on to www.redcrossblood.org and using this sponsor code: PunxsyChristian.
