Patricia S. Jarbeck, 64

Patricia S. Jarbeck, 64, of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Mrs. Jarbeck was born Sept. 25, 1948, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late A. R. Sweeney and Josephine (Dessy) Sweeney.

She was married to her loving husband, William J. Jarbeck II, who survives, of Punxsutawney.

Pat and her husband were foster parents for many children whom they raised.

She worked for County Market, the Chamber of Commerce and the Groundhog Festival Committee for many years.

She loved card games with her friends and her dogs, Bear and Baby.

In addition to her husband, Bill, surviving relatives include a son, William J. Jarbeck III and wife Lori of Hanover; a daughter, Josie Jarbeck of Erie; two grandchildren, Taylor and Chloe Jarbeck; and a sister, Juliann Murray and husband James of San Clemente, Calif.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012.

Interment will be private for family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart & Lung Association.
