Past to Present’s Plow Days draw folks, machines of all ages
A blustery — and occasionally snowy — first day didn't stop the
Past to Present Machinery Association's 12th Annual Plow Day weekend from taking place Saturday and Sunday on Paradise Road in Henderson Township.
Tractors ranging from antiques to more modern models — about 20 on the first day and 30 on the second — took to the fields to plow throughout
the weekend while a spectator wagon carried visitors around the grounds and fields to watch.
Approximately 80 acres were plowed before the weekend was through. Participants — ranging in age from 11 to 80 years old — came from as far away as Ohio to join in.
This year also featured the first-ever Jeep plow, which took place on Sunday, and six garden tractors spent two days plowing four acres.
