The members of Cub Scout Pack 245, their families and some representatives of Girl Scout Troop 20293 weren’t deterred by a little bit of rain and some chillier temperatures on Saturday, as they made their way to the John Jacob Fisher Post 62 American Legion Cemetery Plot and Circle Hill Cemetery to place American flags on the markers of past veterans who have been laid to rest there.

The troop’s involvement is an annual tradition, and some of those who were on hand to help have already graduated to Boy Scouts, but came back to be a part of the tradition, having been a part of it in the past and realizing its importance.
