Take a close look at the projection booth of the Punxsutawney Area Community Center (PACC) Jackson Theater.

The 35 mm projector and equipment needs to be replaced with a digital projector as the movie industry goes all digital within the next year.

Pictured (from left) are Frank Test, PACC projector operator; Rob McCoy, PACC executive director; Teresa Neal, secretary, PACC Board of Directors; and John Test, PACC projector operator.

Donation canisters for the digital project fund are located around town, looking quite similar to the popcorn buckets from the Jackson Theater and bearing stickers with the phrase, “Go Digital or Go Dark.”
