PACC needs to raise funds to keep Jackson Theater current in digital age

Take a close look at the projection booth of the Punxsutawney Area Community Center (PACC) Jackson Theater.

The 35 mm projector and equipment needs to be replaced with a digital projector as the movie industry goes all digital within the next year.

Donation canisters for the digital project fund are located around town, looking quite similar to the popcorn buckets from the Jackson Theater and bearing stickers with the phrase, “Go Digital or Go Dark.”
