Tuesday night, the Punxsutawney Football 1st & 10 Club held a banquet to honor the football players and cheerleaders that participated in grades seven through 12 this season. The banquet gave the players, coaches and parents one final opportunity to honor the senior members especially. Punxsy head coach Alan Nichol thanked the seniors for all they've given to the program and for everything they've left behind for their teammates. Pictured (front, from left) are Alex Fedigan (honorary co-captain), Kristen Mack, Tyler Titus, Hayden Muth (team's leading tackler with 79); (back) Matt Rowland, Jacob Shiock (honorary co-captain), Luke Janocha (team MVP as voted by the players), Jonathan Smeal and Josh Neal. Missing from the photo is senior cheerleader Erin Butler. Junior quarterback Garrett Zimmerman was also honored at the banquet for eclipsing the 1,000-yard passing mark this season with 1,344 yards.
