Eric Wingert, a member of the Oliver Township Volunteer Fire Company, helps clear tree limbs and branches from St. John Road, Oliver Township. A severe storm passed through Jefferson County at 2:57 p.m. Monday, April 25, causing minor home damage and numerous trees and power lines down in Oliver and Ringgold townships. Wingert, who witnessed the storm, said he saw a funnel cloud in the sky that attempted to form but never gained rotation.
