Olive V. Koppenhaver, 91

Olive V. Koppenhaver, 91, DuBois, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at DuBois Regional Medical Center, DuBois.

She was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Brady Township, a daughter of the late Ernest and Anne Marshall Lee.

July 4, 1941, she married William J. Koppenhaver, who preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1987.

Mrs. Koppenhaver was a 1936 graduate of Brady Township High School and she was a homemaker.

She was also a member of the United Church of Christ in Troutville, and the Brady Grange.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Gary L. Koppenhaver and wife Sally of Punxsutawney, Frederick P. Koppenhaver and wife Patricia of Punxsutawney, Dennis L. Koppenhaver and wife Lois of Reynoldsville and Larry D. Koppenhaver of Penfield; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert E. Lee of Troutville; and a sister, Betty (Reed) Swope of DuBois.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Walter and Perry Lee; and a sister, Mae McLaughlin.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Mary Ellen Hoffman officiating.

Interment will be in the United Church of Christ Cemetery, Troutville.
