Olive (Enterline) Troutman, 88

Olive (Enterline) Troutman, 88, of Hamilton, formerly of the Sprankle Mills area, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born March 14, 1924, in McWilliams, Armstrong County, a daughter of the late Daniel and C. Rhoda (Painter) Enterline.

On Sept. 23, 1940, she married Lee Troutman. He preceded her in death in 1984 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

She attended the Hamilton Methodist Church, and was a member of the Ladies Aid for many years.

Olive was a member of the Punxsy Senior Center.

She was a resident of South Pasadena, Fla., and owned a mobile park there. She spent the winter months there for 17 years, until 2000, when due to an accident and failing health, she decided to remain in her home in Hamilton.

She attended the Pasadena Baptist Church and was active in the homeless mission in the church.

She was a retired employee of Rola Jensen.

Olive is survived by two sons, Randall M. Troutman and wife Suzie of Hamilton and Frank Troutman of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, Dena Dingle and husband John of Meadow Lands, Pa., Jerod Troutman and friend Katie Brush, and Amanda, Charlie and Ryan Troutman of Arcadia, Fla.; three great-granddaughters, Alena, Madison and Jayden; one great-grandson, Ryan Troutman, Jr.; one sister, Nancy Beggs and husband Homer of Sandy Lake, Pa.; two nephews; and one niece.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the funeral home.

Interment will be private at Worthville Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Olive’s memory to the Hamilton United Methodist Church, the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Foundation.
