Olga Gresock, 81, Punxsutawney

Olga Gresock, 81, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Penn Highlands Healthcare Brookville.

She was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Catherine (Hardick) Gresock.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church of Punxsutawney.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling and yard work.

She retired from the Bell Telephone Company after 35 years and also worked for her brother at Nick’s Corner Lunch for six years.

Surviving relatives include four brothers, John and wife Marge of Grove City, Steven and wife Marian of Flushing, Michigan, Sam of Punxsutawney, and Nick and wife Barb of Punxsutawney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Agnes Sitko, Celestine Fleckenstein, Ethel Kolodick, Anna Mary
Gresock, and Thecla Gresock; and a nephew, Samuel Gresock.

A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church with Father Simeon Sibenik officiating.

Interment will be at St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Cemetery in Horatio.

Memorial contributions, in memory of Olga, may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.
