Old Home Week Carnival opens

He wasn’t fire breathing, but the spinning dragon ride on the J&J Amusements midway is big, green and friendly. Here (from left), Nicholas and Olivia Gordon; and Lauren Kent of Punxsy, take a ride on the dragon Tuesday during the Punxsutawney Fire Department’s Old Home Week Carnival, which continues from 6 to 11 p.m. every night through Saturday at the carnival grounds behind the west side of the Punxy Plaza.
