Old Home Week Carnival ends tonight; parking limits in effect today for parade

PUNXSUTAWNEY — Punxsutawney Borough Police Chief Tom Fedigan reminds residents about the traffic and parking restriction for today’s Old Home Week Parade. 

The parade will begin at 4 p.m., and parking restrictions will begin at noon.

The streets affected by the parking restrictions will include East and West Mahoning streets, Union Street and Chestnut Street. 

The parking restrictions will be lifted at the conclusion of the parade. 

Traffic will be restricted along Mahoning Street around 3:30 p.m. until the conclusion of the parade. 

Traffic control personnel will be present at all affected intersections throughout town.
