Numerous injuries reported in afternoon accident involving school van

A number of injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Punxsy between a Ford school van, operated by Ida Mae Uplinger of Brookville, and a Pontiac Grand Am, operated by Lakin Frampton of Punxsuatwney.

A total of seven juveniles and both drivers were transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital for treatment of injuries.
