Monday marked the first day of the Library Hot Dog Days event, as volunteers from Friends of the Library set up shop in front of Fezell's County Market.

Aside from the $2 hot dog meal, a book sale was also held, with all proceeds going to the library.

The event will continue throughout the week, with volunteers from different local organizations serving each day.
