Norma Grace Altman, 83

Norma Grace Altman, 83, Rochester Mills, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born Jan. 24, 1928, in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late John and Iva Mae (Uber) Charlton.

June 1, 1946, she married Harold W. (Jock) Altman Jr., who preceded her in death May 19, 2001.

Mrs. Altman was a member of the Covode United Methodist Church and the Mahoning Hills Senior Center.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Karen J. Anthony and Kristy L. Anthony, both of Rochester Mills; five grandchildren, Scott Lunger, David Anthony, Daniel Anthony, Jason Anthony and Tonya Hsiung; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lunger; and a great-granddaughter, Makayla Anthony.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Thomas R. Hoeh officiating.

Interment will be private and at Union Cemetery.
