None injured as school bus, car collide

A two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. Monday at the
intersection of North Jefferson Street and Torrence Street, when a school bus and a car collided.

According to Punxsutawney Borough Police, a Punxsutawney Area School District school bus, driven by Rebecca Edgell of Punxsutawney, had been stopped at a stop sign and was attempting to turn left onto North Jefferson Street, when a white Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Michael Wachob
of DuBois was stopped at the stop sign and was turning right onto Torrence Street from North Jefferson Street at the same time, causing a collision.

There were no injuries, and the school bus did not have any students on it at the time of the crash.

Police were assisted at the scene by members of Central Fire Department.
