No injuries reported in two- vehicle accident on Route 119

YOUNG TOWNSHIP — There were no injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 4:41 p.m. Wednesday on Route 119 across from Pasquale's Restaurant in Young Township.

According to Punxsutawney-based Pennsylvania State Police, a 1999 Ford Escort, driven by Brett Toven of Anita, was traveling north on Route 119, when Toven failed to see a 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by John Waters of Rochester Mills, stopped in front of him waiting for a third vehicle that was making a left turn into Pasquale's Restaurant.

Police said Toven's vehicle sustained disabling damage after it struck Waters’ vehicle in the rear, causing minor damage to Waters’ vehicle.

According to police, there were no injuries, and Toven's vehicle was towed from the scene by Brosius Towing of Big Run.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Lindsey Fire Company.
